Wednesdays at the Attic on Adams

They say the heat rises, and that's certainly the case every Wednesday night when the crawfish come to a boil. Start with a mini-reading from Elizabeth Hazel, author of Tarot Decoded, from 5 - 8pm.  Then bring the heat with a mixture of Cajun and Creole creations from specialty chef Dave Pilcher. Dubbed Creole in the Attic, the weekly event features booming New Orleans-style Zydeco music, $1.50 Bud Light draughts and a menu chock full of spicy specialties.

Happy Hour Specials (Mon – Fri, 4-8PM)

David Pilcher - Specialty Chef - Creole in the Attic

Specialty Chef
David Pilcher

Fifteen years ago David "Dave" Pilcher was behind the bar of the future "The Attic on Adams" and the long-time relationship with Manos was started. He was twenty eight and looking for adventure. Who knew he would find his adventure in Creole cooking... he didn't. All it took was one taste of Gumbo and he was hooked!

With no formal training, David wanted to figure out how to cook it.

Fifteen years later the Specialty Chef of "Creole Wednesdays" has given Mr. Pilcher an opportunity to share what he has learned. His kitchen is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the expansive "Attic on Adams" bar. With the aroma of crayfish and gumbo wafting into your senses... you can see, taste, and tell... he has learned well!
